Susan brings in a decade of Deaf-focused experiences to DeafWorks!, including serving as an advocate, ASL instructor, benefits specialist and service coordinator.

Susan received a master's degree in Human Resource Development with distinction from Rochester Institute of Technology. Additionally, she has completed certification in Benefits Planning, Assistance and Outreach from the Cornell University's Employment and Disability Program.

She was recognized by the Rochester Deaf community for her exceptional advocacy and contributions during Deaf Awareness Week in September 2004. Currently, she is the chair for the National Center for Deaf Health Research's Deaf Health Community Committee.



Lori has worked as a Job Developer with VESID for 5 years as an independent contractor, serving 50 Deaf and hard of hearing job seekers with a high job placement rate. Her employment-related networking backgrounds have become an asset to DeafWorks!

She earned a master's degree in Human Resource Development from Rochester Institute of Technology. Lori is actively involved in the Deaf community as a President of Rochester Deaf Mothers Club (RDMC) as well as being involved in Alpha Sigma Theta Alumni Association (ASTAA), a deaf sorority at RIT.
